Day 1: Delhi

Upon your arrival at the Delhi Airport, you will be met and assisted by our tour representative who will escort you to your hotel accommodation. You can meet and interact with the other guests who will be joining you on this tour. Rest for the remainder of the day or you can go sightseeing around New Delhi.

Day 2: Guwahati - Kaziranga (4.5 hours approx)

From the Delhi Airport, catch your flight to Guwahati early in the morning. Upon arrival, you will be driven down to Kariranga National Park. Check into your hotel and relax for the afternoon. Evening will be fun when you enjoy the Bihu folk dance, and have a sumptuous meal for dinner. Sleep in your jungle resort.

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park

Begin your first day of exploring Kaziranga early morning on an elephant ride which takes you through the dense thickets of the forest for sighting game and tracking the tiger. Return to your resort after this short adventure and have your breakfast. Freshen up and again leave the park, this time in an open jeep for a rhino safari and bird watching. This will lead you to the tall marshy grassland area of Kaziranga where the one horned rhinoceros in India reside. We will not near the rhino since it is an aggressive animal.

Day 4 and 5: Kaziranga National Park

You will be served all the major meals including tea. Before the breaking of the dawn, visit the Panbari Range Forest, a semi-evergreen forest in the plains and highland area of the Kaziranga. It is the migratory route for the Indian wild elephant. Here you will discover the only ape in India – Hoolock Gibbon. Next you go bird watching before arriving for brunch at the resort.

Mid day, drive to Eastern Forest Agaratuli Forest Range, known for its varied bird species. Find nesting birds – raptors and pelicans. Watch the migrant and resident wetland birds at Sohola Beel. Also discover the Dillenia Range Swamp Forests where wild elephant, Asian water buffaloes and species of swamp deer can be seen.

Day 6: Kaziranga - Guwahati - Kolkata

Morning after breakfast, we taxi down to Guwahati and take the flight to Kolkata. Reach Kolkata by the evening and check into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7: Kolkata - Sunderbans National Park

Leave Kolkata, escorted on a jetty at Sonakhali. The duration of the ride is approximately two and a half hours and intersects the green landscape of Bengal. All around you, you will find the hutments and shopping haats of the dwellers. Lunch and tea will be provided overboard. You will be cruising on the rivers Gomor, Hogol, Bidya, Durgaduani, and Gumdi before reaching the Sunderbans Jungle Camp on Bali Island. Visit the Sajnekhali Mangrove Interpretation Center and while coming back visit Sudhyanakhali Watch Tower. Return to your resort for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8 and 9: Sunderbans National Park

It is a full day cruise today. Take a leisurely walk after breakfast at Dobanki and then proceed towards Netidhopani. This place houses the excavations taken place here and it is also wonderful for some animal watching. Lunch and tea will be provided. You can catch glimpses of the Estuarine Crocodile and the Irrawady Dolphin. Return to your resort after a day full of nature trek, and watch an Opera based on the myth of the Goddess Bonobibi performed by the local village folk. Retire after dinner.

Day 10: Sunderbans National Park - Kolkata – Delhi

Post breakfast, tour Bali, interact with the locals and understand their lifestyle. Enjoy boating on the country boats of the villagers. After lunch and tea, leave for Kolkata for the connecting flight to Delhi. Check into the hotel in Delhi after your arrival here in the evening. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Delhi – Onward Destination

After breakfast at the hotel, get transferred to the airport to take your flight back home. The tour terminates here.
